Lion's head meatball was delicious. Don't skip this.
XLB were tasty.
Pea shoots tasted like they had just been picked from the garden - very fresh.
Loved it. -

No soup in soup dumplings = EPIC FAIL.
The lady seemed to scam us, bringing out dishes we didnt order then yelling at us when we tried to unsuccessfully send them back.
Way over priced. Sweet and sour chicken was the only real good dish.
$15 for pea shoots? Are they blessed?
Would not recommend, over priced, rude older lady scamming you into overpriced pea dishes.
Boooo, move onto the next.
Check your bill for suprise add-ons. -

Solid simple Shanghai food. I wouldn't say it is anything I would seek out in Chinatown but I was happy with our meal. There is lots of space and quick seating for lunch.

All the food I've tried has been pretty good. The service is ok. It is quick and gets the job done. -

Always enjoy this restaurant. Great Shanghai food and hard working staff that serve you well. Very good for large groups of 6-8 people in particular.
I'd recommend the Shanghai noodles and Xia Long Bao for sure. -

would not recommend this place if you're visiting the bay area and craving for some good chinese food in chinatown. the only reason you might want to come here is if you're looking for a family style restaurant that's not too expensive or busy.
i ordered the dan dan noodles which had more of a spicy Szechuan broth than i'm used to. i personally don't like that explosive chili flavor and i like dan dan noodles that are more "dry" with the minced meat/sauce, not soupy. the portion size was big enough for 2-3 people to share though. i also tried the xiao long bao/soup dumplings which, again, i had a distaste for. there was barely any soup in the dumpling and not a lot of juicy flavor.
tip: they do not let you split the check so if you're coming with friends/wanting to pay separating, keep that in mind!
